JULIA ELAINE MILLS hails from the artistic and eclectic communities of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She grew up acting and capturing beauty in whatever way possible; be that in the outdoors or within her interactions. Realizing her real passion was cinematography and producing, she went to New York University for film to specialize in those two with a focus in Producing and Cinematography.

She now produces works in narrative features and shorts, documentaries, commercials, music videos and online and lifestyle content. She has produced content for clients such as Salesforce, Optimizely, BART, Vitamin Water, Expedia, LensCrafters, The Container Store, iSmart Alarm, iHealth Align and artists such as D.R.A.M. (Top 5 in Charts for single "Broccoli"), Mick Jenkins, Joey Bada$$ and others. She has crewed on dozens of major studio features and network television series such as John Wick, Cafe Society, Going in Style, She's Funny That Way, Blue Bloods, The Following, The Blacklist, The Goodwife, Gotham, Nurse Jackie, The Americans, Elementary, Person of Interest and many others.

Her goal as a filmmaker is to create stark and progressive works of beauty in new and diverse ways. Blending her interests in traveling and different cultures, she strives to make every work a new and interesting encounter into the way of looking at characters and worlds.
